Yesterday was a very productive day in spite of the several hours that were dedicated to the new knitting machine. I "made" 2 projects on the machine and these are the photos.
The yellow square was the tester piece that I first knit, and as you can see, it is a work of art. It is curling in the at the sides- those are not wiggly edges. The second two pictures are a scarf that I made, and then dropped a bunch of the stitches, in a pattern. It may be slightly longer than I anticipated, but it is still nice looking and after it's blocked it will look even better.
I also began the hairpin lace shawl in Katia Jamaica, and it looks really nice. I'm on the first strip of lace, and I'm trying to chart my progress on ravelry. We'll see how that goes.

How do you feel about the stitches on the machine knit stuff? Is it really noticeable that they're machine knit? I've been thinking about buying that Ultimate Sweater Machine to do sock blanks for dying and stuff, but I'm worried about how it actually works.
I don't think it's that noticeable that it's not hand knit. The stitches are all exact. I think I have the Ultimate Sweater Machine. Is that the one from Joann Fabrics that is on sale? Because that is the one I bought. I'm coming in Feb 15-20, so I will bring a piece with me and you can look at it.
